ACBEE Conference 2005
7th June 2005, RICS, 12 Great George Street, Westminster,
London
No delegate fee for this event
A one-day national conference arranged by CEBE in collaboration
with CIC, CITB Construction Skills, Constructing Excellence and
the Engineering Subject Centre.
ACBEE exists to foster collaboration and dialogue between industry,
education and professional bodies. The ACBEE case studies demonstrate
that industry and education can all gain by working together. Universities
gain from better alignment of the built environment curriculum with
the world of work so that they are able to orientate themselves
to industry. Industry can benefit from universities getting their
knowledge out into practice. At this event ACBEE will show how its
aims and objectives have been met and what is hoped for the future.
The conference will provide an opportunity for the wider built
environment education community and companies to consider the added
value of industry engagement within education. There will be representation
from those who have already submitted ACBEE case studies to discuss
further their progress along with key industry, academic, professional
bodies and government stakeholders.
